There are many different types of biases that can affect the recruitment process, whether it be conscious or unconscious. there are also some strategies that are available to help reduce and educate people on these biases. You will notice there is a pattern in the types of recruitment biases, where people tend to focus more on commonalities than skills and experience, above all else this is the primary aspect of recruitment bias that needs to be tackled!
